Special Custom Challenge Coins

All the custom challenge coins are special. That is because they are made in such a way that the memory of the occasion on which they are presented to a group of people remains fresh even after many years. The Custom Challenge Coins actually date back to the First World War in which one of the volunteer pilots got some custom challenge coins minted for all his fellow pilots. All of them kept them safely with them and one of the pilots’ life was actually saved because of the coin. After that it became a ritual with the military to get special challenge coins made and given out to all their officers so that they could keep it with them as a sake of secret identity.

Custom Award CoinsThe coins are non transferable and all the people are not allowed to even see the coins. The coins are kept safely with all the officers and they are not even allowed to show them to their family. The coins have to be with them at all times and the senior officers have all the right to check the presence of the coin with the officer during off duty or within duty hours of challenging the coins.

The special coins are sometimes awarded to the special soldiers who are on special duty for the well being of their country and for the good will of its people. These soldiers have their lives at constant risk and to give them a chance in case of any mistake if they come in the eyes of the local investigators to prove themselves as innocent and not the enemies of their own country.

The Special Challenge Coins are in different shapes and are not at all like the money coins if looked carefully however they are kept safely and even tied around the neck in leather pouches.

Minting Of The Special Custom Award Coins

Custom Challenge Coins
The special custom award coins are minted by the excellent coin mints that know how to mint the special coins and provide the best ideas for the coins. The whole task is very special and sacred because the custom award coins are not just any challenge coins but they are being minted to salute the bravery of the young, vibrant men who barely survived and many saw their fellow soldiers dying in their arms.

The coin's design is specially made by special designers and then finalized by the Chief of Army Staff. Each and every petty detail including the size, shape, metal, border, inscription, etc are all discussed in detail with them before finalizing the whole thing.

After it is done a complete soft copy is checked. The design on both sides of the coin is made of paper and rechecked for any kind of mistake in the writing or dates and after being checked several times it is given for minting. The mind then gets a dye made and a stamping sort of metal is prepared for both sides of the coin. Then the metals on which the coins are to be made is stamped with the design and then the cut outs and other details are done.

After the coins are done the last part is to design the border which is done very cautiously on each and every piece by hand to give the give the coins and exquisite look. Last of all the coins are packed in special glass, plastic, velvet, Swede, its boxes that would look nice when presented to the brave men.

The coins are presented in special ceremonies arranged on a very large scale and telecast live by the social media on television as well. The whole thing is an excellent way to commemorate the efforts of the brave soldiers and also to boost the morale of the young ones.
